Portfolio: Elevator shaft scale model

Peter Coopman (Liften Coopman): "On a short term, we needed a miniature replica of an elevator shaft with moving elevator cage. The visual aspect was as important as looking at it from a technical point of view. Simplification of reality was necessary, but still the result was more than a mock up of principle. We got a good price/quality relation."

1/10 scale model, approximately 800mm of height, elevator can be moved by manually turning a motor wheel.

Materials: PMMA, grey MDF, stainless steel, ABS 3D prints, polystyrene.

Model to be used as a communication tool towards employees, customers and suppliers.
